Historic Yorktown announces 2025 event lineup

YORKTOWN – With a new year underway, Historic Yorktown has unveiled a schedule of events slated to take place in the coming months.

The diverse lineup features everything from outdoor concerts and festivals to historic reenactments and art strolls.

In addition to the return of popular favorites, several new events will launch this year, including the Yorktown Wine & Oyster Festival, the 250th Anniversary of Lord Dunmore’s Virginia Campaign and celebrations commemorating the 20th Anniversary of Riverwalk Landing.

The first event of the year kicks off next week on Jan. 16, which marks the return of the free Cabin Fever Concert series. 

Other noteworthy upcoming events include the Blues, Brews & BBW Festival; Paws at the River; the Sounds of Summer and Rhythms on the Riverwalk concert series; the Virginia Symphony Concert; and Yorktown Workboat Races.

Historic Yorktown will also host holiday celebrations throughout the year, including Independence Day and Yorktown Day festivities as well as several Christmas programs and events.

Yorktown Market Days will return with four special winter markets in February and March, which will begin later in the morning at 10 a.m. and wrap up at 2 p.m. The regular market season will resume on April 12, and markets will continue to be held weekly through Oct. 25.
