Youth Citizenship Ceremony | Jamestown Settlement | Young people from across the globe who are children of naturalized citizens will be escorted to Jamestown's Robins Foundation Theater by the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation Honor Guard. They will then take the Oath of Allegiance to the United States and receive Certificates of Citizenship. 3 - 4 pm.
Jamestown Settlement will honor the legacy of the first recorded Africans brought to Virginia in 1619 with reflections of history and modern perspectives. Commemorative programming will include presentations, special guests, gallery exhibits and films. Included with museum admission.
