Gallery: The 2025 holiday season arrives at Colonial Williamsburg

WILLIAMSBURG – It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Colonial Williamsburg. The 2025 holiday season kicked off with a tree lighting at Merchants Square on Saturday, Nov. 29.

Fresh wreaths and seasonal decorations have begun to adorn the shops and homes in the historic area. Throughout the weekend, the Liberty Ice Pavilion – which will remain open throughout the winter – drew scores of locals and visitors alike.
