#ReturnOrResign: Charly Boy Tasks 2Baba To Join Protest
Nigerian musician and activist, Charles Oputa, better known as Charly Boy, has taken to social media to call out popular Nigerian musician Innocent Idibia, aka known as 2Baba
In case you’ve missed the gist: Charly Boy is the leader and founder of ‘Our Mumu Don Do’campaign, a platform he set up to protest the dearth of quality leadership in Nigeria. Our Mumu Don Do had a successful peaceful protest in Lagos and later in Imo State.
In conjunction with the ‘Concerned Citizens activist group, Charly Boy recently took the protest to Abuja to demand President Muhammad Buhari, who has been away from the country for over 100 days, either ‘Resume or Resign’.
Other stars, including the popular Nollywood artist, Jim Iyke, joined him in the protest. But, the protest was suspended after 9 days following the attack on the group at Wuse market, Abuja.
In his Instagram post, Charles Oputa asked 2baba if he did not hear about the ‘Resume or Resign’ protest. It’s clear Charly Boy expected 2baba’s support.

Recall that 2baba, early this year, wanted to launch a protest against Buhari’s administration, but did not continue, because of ‘security challenges’. However, 2baba promised that even though his Protest’ did not hold, he would continue to speak out for Nigerians. Perhaps this could be the reason Charly Boy expected 2face to speak up now.
