Petrochemical Company Starts Construction Of Refinery In Imo State
Waltersmith Refining and Petrochemical Company Limited have said it would give 271 million liters of refined products to grow Nigeria’s economy.
This came from the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Waltersmith Petroman Oil Limited Abdulrazaq Isa recently.
According to Isa, the company is building a modular refinery at Ibigwe field in the Ohaji/Egbema Council Area of Imo state to meet up with the demand.
According to him, the project when finished, would also create jobs and reduce demand for foreign exchange for the importation of fuel into the country.
He added that the refinery with a refining capacity of 5000 bpd was conceptualized in 2011
