NCAA Licenses 7 Star Global Hangar, Set To Commence Operations
7 Star Global Hangar, a new internationally licensed Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO), owned and managed by Nigerians, has received operational license from the National Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) to commence operations in the country.
A statement by Engineer Isaac Balami, the Chief Executive Officer of company, said the MRO was ready to commence operations next week.
Balami said the MRO, which was conceived about six years ago had the capacity to handle Boeing 737 fleets.
He said the hangar would also stock a comprehensive spare part inventory marketplace to be made available to airlines in Nigeria and across the West and Central African region.
Balami, who decried the high cost of maintenance of aircraft by airline operators in the region, said relief had come to the aviation sector, urging operators to take advantage of the opportunity.
