FG Assures Traders Of More Loans Under TraderMoni Scheme
The Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has reassured traders of the federal government’s commitment to helping their businesses grow.
Osinbajo said this on a visit to the Abubakar Gumi Central Market, Kaduna, to launch the state’s edition of the TraderMoni scheme.
He told the traders that they would get more loans from the government if they can repay the initial ones being disbursed under the Tradermoni scheme.
Osinbajo urged them to use the loans judiciously and repay as soon as possible to qualify for higher amounts N15,000, N20,000, N50,000 and N100,000.
The Trader Moni scheme gives N10,000 loans to petty traders in the country, repayable over a six-month period without interest.
It was first launched on Aug. 7 in five markets in Lagos State.
