Alex Sandro Snubs Chelsea, Extends Contract With Juventus
Alex Sandro is set to snub Chelsea and sign a new £93,000-a-week contract at Juventus.
The Sun reports that the Brazilian full-back, who was set to be the world’s most expensive defender, might have decided to remain with the Serie A champions.
According to Italian outlet La Stampa, Blues boss Antonio Conte met with Sandro’s agent on to discuss a deal.
The Premier League champions were ready to pay up to £61million for the player.
Sandro had an impressive season for Juventus as they won the league title and the Coppa Italia.
The 26-year-old was signed by Massimiliano Allegri in 2015.
